TERMS OF SERVICE

By commissioning me, you agree with the terms and conditions listed below. Please read them carefully! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email to clarify anything!Commissions are for PERSONAL USE and may be used ONLY for non-commercial purposes, with proper credit required (e.g. “Artwork by wormwood19”) for all public uses, for example social media; my standard commissions can’t be used for profit or commercial gain. When commissioning me, you agree to me posting the artwork on my social media; you can ask your commission to be kept private or unposted, but you’ll have to pay an additional fee of 30% of the total price.If you’re interested in my art services for commercial work, it can be done! Send me an email and we will discuss a proper arrangement; the price of the commission will be increased by 200%. Commercial use includes but it’s not limited to: books, merchandise, promotional materials, prints, games, any form of mass reproductions, etc. It’ll be still required to have proper credit.I might exercise some artistic freedom in my works, especially if I think it’ll help to get an even better result! All the artworks will include my signature that you may not remove.I will reserve the right to decline commissions for any given reason.You may use the artwork for strictly personal use (unless the commission was for commercial use), use it as a profile picture/banner on social media with credit and repost the artwork with proper credit. You may not claim the artwork as yours, remove any signature and watermarks, use the art for any AI, NFT, and blockchain shenanigan, commercially distribute or use the artwork without permission.

What do you need to provide

To make sure that the commissions go as nicely as possible, you’ll have to provide the following elements. Describe, as comprehensively as possible, your idea and mood, please be precise! Include the tone of the illustration! If it’s an original character (OC), please tell me about them, how they are, their physical appearance, attitude, etc.Attach visual references (poses, clothing, mood boards, Pinterest boards, etc.) for everything: a description helps to make an idea, but to create what you want, references are essential! If you commissioned a complex background, provide references for it too, especially for architecture.

Payment

Full payment upfront after the details of the commission have been finalized, agreed upon and after your approval of the initial sketch. The payments are non-refundable. All my prices are in Euro (€ - EUR). The final price of the commission depends on its complexity, especially if detailed backgrounds or clothing is involved, so the price will be set after discussing all the details.

Process, revisions and delivery

After you fill the Google Form with all the information about your desired commission and how to reach you, I’ll contact you to define any details and confirm all the elements you provided. After this contact I’ll prepare an initial rough sketch and I’ll send it to you via email to get your confirmation and if everything is ok you’ll be able to proceed with the full payment, locking your commission slot, after which I’ll start working on your commission.I’ll send a more refined sketch and a halfway render (most likely a flat colored one) as WIPs (Work-in-Progress) steps unless you specifically request another step linked to a revision. All the WIP images will include a watermark and will be smaller than the final piece.Up to 2 revisions will be allowed for free during the “refined sketch” step. After this step, only minor adjustments within reason can be made and any major changes will be subject to an additional fee depending on the nature of the change and the complexity.Once the artwork is finished, you’ll receive the full-resolution image file (PNG, 300 DPI) in the corresponding size, depending on the type of commission selected.

Intellectual property & copyright

I retain all copyright over my work, which includes the right to redistribute, reproduce, or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion unless otherwise agreed upon. I won’t claim the rights to a character design unless it was one of my own designs, so I won’t reuse/resell the artwork for personal or commercial projects unless agreed upon.My art CANNOT be used for any form of training, usage or assistance of AI, NFT, blockchain, etc. Do not edit the images with AI without my permission. Do not trace my art. Do not post any WIPs publicly.
